  • Soon supercar 30th anniversary is coming. As I know, their debut was 1997. Do you guys think anything special would happen officially next year? I Wish some events(at least remix album release) but I don't think it will happen. Since I heard they broke up in bad way.

    • I haven't heard anything of it being a bad breakup, mostly band members' desire to do their own thing. If it was really that bad a breakup, they wouldn't have planned a last live concert together.

    • I wish they'd release some more live footage on DVD/Blu-Ray as a 30th celebration or a remix like you said. I know Miki and Koji sometimes do a live show with U-ZHAAN where they do Supercar songs. (on twitter there is a clip of them doing wonder word) I think it was more creative differences that led to the bands break up, funny enough, Junji is credited on Koji's Rock Album, song "Hello". So i think they still had a healthy relationship. I'm hoping there's a new LAMA EP or Single soon, its been forever.

    • I heard some rumors about their disintegration. And I thought one of them was true, like they fought and didn't see each other for long. I'm so sorry for pulling out sensitive made up stories. Since there were many talks when they went on their own paths, I thought if there's something behind the scene. I didn't know miki and nakako had a supercar performance in 2025. Just watched it and I felt so happy. Wish I were there... Also didn't know nakako credited junji to his song. Thank you!!!

  • I added simple tab. Copied JFiesta99's tamplet. Thanks for him.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS-q8DhrQdo&t=533s, I know this is not related to Supercar in anyway, but it is still a cool album. Highly Recommended!

Is it true David Bowie once stated he was a fan of Supercar?

    • I heard that's true.

I was wondering where did Supercar created their demos before signing to Sony

    • I think it was their hometown aomori. After they contacted to SONY, SONY made them make more than 200 demos before debut.

  • I found out SONY is deleting live videos of supercar. I think it's becasue of copyright.

  • Hi, I just went to japan tokyo and watched nakako-san playing in a band jesus' sun!! It sounded like album "humanity" and was also improvisation! It was literally awesome. I want to see him again when I come to tokyo later.

    • That band is hard to find in google

      • Yes I think he made a new band recently.

I found a Japanese supercar fan website about half a year ago. There are a lot of valuable information about supercar, such as the text version of the interview in 1999.But I forgot the name of this website. Does anyone remember it?
